You have entered into a temporary business relationship with Genesis IT (aka EDGE Total PC Sevices) based in Vienna OH 44473 to repair your computer...

**The following ONLY APPLIES TO 'LEGACY' COMPUTERS (10-years old or more)...
If your computer (notebook or desktop) is 10-yrs old (or older) Genesis IT reserves the right to refuse to repair, and cannot nor will not be held liable for any type of hardware failure while in its possession nor after when the PC is returned to you, the current owner, nor will any act of God cause Genesis IT to be responsible for the condition of the PC while in its possession. Genesis IT reserves the right to refuse to repair a computer based on the age and condition so let us invoke some common sense; it is very senseless to spend money to keep a 15 year old computer going; more than likely it is going to have serious and continuous hardware failures... also, the cost of repair and hardware more than likely will exceed the cost of a new and/or refurbished unit... sad to say, many people think computers/internet devices are made to last forever - fact of life: they are NOT !

**SHOULD YOUR PC's OS BE CLOSE TO OR @ EOL (End-Of-Life)
You will be upgraded to Microsoft's current operating system which is Windows 10 (if possible based on minimum hardware specs a/p Microsoft) and/or it's very latest version (Windows 11) OR an alternative OS (Linux) which has many benefits (you are welcome to request further explanation)... Legacy Mac computer ??  More than

likely its useful life can be extended by installing a Linux distro (distribution) as it has higher quality hardware than comparable Windows PC's.  Wake up people, Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8 / 8.1 are NO LONGER supported !!!

 

SPECIAL NOTICE: Microsoft to end ALL Windows 10 support October 14th, 2025

Should the PC not be repairable you will be notified and be responsible for picking it up within 7 days of notification and there will be no charge if it cannot be fixed for a reasonable amount - please note Genesis IT and/or Edge Total PC Services maintains a policy of "no repair = no charge".

If there are hardware issues and parts are required you will be advised accordingly and promptly as far as costs are concerned at which time you will be asked to render a decision to fix the PC or not... if you do choose to go ahead with the repair any and all hardware and/or software required must be paid in full before the repair commences...  be it duly noted the hard drive currently in the PC may very well be an OEM legacy hard-drive which has an average lifespan of 5-7 years and if this is the oem original you can expect failure at any time...  it would be most advisable to install a modern solid state drive which has no moving parts nor does it generate high heat and has an average lifespan of 1.5 million hours+ MTBF and is upward of 10x faster than "legacy spinning platter" hard-drives (HDD)... 

of course we know that anything that is man-made is flawed and no guarantees can be made whatsoever on a "forever basis' when it comes to man-made goods ... Only The Lord our God makes things perfectly and forever.

If you switch to a different operating system other than Windows you will be entitled to a 90-day happiness guarantee that if at any time during that period you wish to return to using Windows for whatever reason there will be NO charge to you whatsoever for reverting... Genesis iT also offers hardware/software upgrades @ anytime and will be reasonably charged accordingly (ALL hardware / software are 'Final Sale' )... also if GiT is not able to repair your computer within a reasonable time and @ a reasonable price it will be returned to you @ no charge for our services whatsoever including no charge for bench-testing & diagnosis --- please be informed 90-plus % of the repairs are done within 24 - 48 hours !!!

you will be kept up to date via text messages as long as I am working on your computer as I have come to find out my customers very much like being kept informed... in the event you leave your phone on but do not wish to be disturbed during hours of rest, please advise the time-frames I can contact / text you.
